Pastel de nata cakes with custard



Ingredients

custard :

 unleavened puff pastry - 350-400 gr

milk - 400 ml

sifted flour - 60 gr

sugar (if you like it sweeter, add 150 grams of sugar) - 130 grams

egg yolks - 4 pcs

zest - 1 lemon

vanilla

powdered sugar for dusting

berries for decoration

utensils: muffin tin

Method :

Prepare the custard: pour milk into a saucepan, add sugar, yolks, flour, lemon zest, and vanilla to taste, stir, and place on low heat.

Stirring constantly, bring the cream to thicken.

As soon as the cream begins to thicken, immediately remove it from the heat.

The cream should not be too thick.

If the cream has thickened too much, you can add a little milk.

Defrost the puff pastry and roll it out into a thin layer.

Cut out circles that are 10 cm in diameter.

Place the mugs in the muffin tin.

Place 2 tbsp on the dough. custard.

Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees. oven until golden brown, about 20-25 minutes.

Then the cakes can be sprinkled with powdered sugar.
